Greeneville Oil and Professional Vending Services Present “Cash for Schools” Check

Today Greeneville Oil, with the help of Professional Vending Services, presented a check for $1,130 to Greeneville City Schools for the “Cash for Schools” program.

The Cash for Schools program was implemented 24 years ago by Community Coffee Company as a give-back program to assist schools in communities where their coffee is sold. Professional Vending Services (PVS), which is located at 1625 Pottertown Road, distributes Community Coffee, which is roasted in Louisiana, through its coffee services division.

“When I learned about the ‘Cash for Schools’ program, I talked with Greeneville Oil to see if they would like to participate,” says Doug Fezell, president of PVS. “We felt it would be a wonderful way to give back to our community and Greeneville Oil agreed.”

“All of us at Greeneville Oil are supportive of providing the best education possible for children in our region. When PVS suggested this program, we thought it would be an excellent opportunity to give back and support education,” said Mark Freshour, Operations Manager of Greeneville Oil.

Greeneville Oil & Petroleum is the leading multi-branded wholesale and retail distributor of petroleum products in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
